Spooner Row railway station : ウィキペディア英語版 | Spooner Row railway station
Spooner Row railway station is a rural railway station in the English county of Norfolk. The station is situated in the small village of Spooner Row, approximately 12 miles south west of Norwich. The original station buildings were destroyed by fire in the 1970s. The station is unstaffed with a small 'bus stop' type shelter on each platform. The eastbound platform is much lower than is usual for those on the British railway network. The original wooden level crossing gates adjacent to the station were operated manually by the signalman from the nearby signal box. However, in 2012 the signal box was closed and the crossing gates were replaced with automated full barriers with red flashing warning lights. The signal box is being relocated to Wymondham Abbey railway station on the Mid-Norfolk Railway. == Services == All services are operated by Greater Anglia. From Monday to Friday there are two daily services to Norwich in the morning, with one return to Cambridge late afternoon. On Saturdays there is one morning service to Norwich and one afternoon return to Cambridge. There is no Sunday service. The Monday to Friday service operates on most Bank holidays.
